Womens Wellness

Help Us Raise $22,000 to build a better world for women!

Many of the greatest challenges women face today are not simply individual struggles. Loneliness, anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, and disconnection have become defining features of modern life. Women, in particular, continue to carry disproportionate burdens of caregiving, emotional labor, financial strain, and systemic inequity, often without the communal support human beings have relied upon throughout history.

Temple of Belonging was created in response to this reality: to cultivate a place where women can tend the wounds of isolation, burnout, and disconnection while remembering that another way is possible. A way rooted in reverence for the feminine, meaningful relationships, local community, cultural integrity, and the understanding that wellbeing is not something we achieve alone, but something we create together.

Our vision extends beyond a single gathering. We are cultivating a living village that supports women across generations, identities, cultures, and life experiences. A community where mothers are supported, elders are honored, diverse cultural wisdom is welcomed, children are woven into village life, and women are invited to show up fully as themselves.

Building this kind of community requires more than good intentions. It requires thoughtful leadership, financial accessibility, cultural stewardship, community care, and shared responsibility.

Our goal this year is to raise $22,000 to strengthen these foundations, expand access through scholarships, support the teams who steward belonging, and ensure that Temple remains accessible to women who might otherwise be unable to participate.

Where Your Investment Goes

Every dollar contributed to this campaign is invested directly into the people, relationships, and systems that make Temple of Belonging more accessible, more inclusive, and more deeply supported.

Unlike most gatherings, Temple intentionally invests in the human infrastructure that makes genuine belonging possible. We have learned that we have to take community health into our own hands, and it is cultivated through thoughtful leadership, equitable access, cultural stewardship, shared responsibility, and a culture of care.

While many events fund stages, entertainment, or production, Temple invests in the conditions that allow people to feel safe enough to connect, supported enough to participate, and empowered enough to bring what they experience back into their own communities. Every scholarship awarded, every childcare hour provided, every cultural leader compensated, and every member of our Community Care Team strengthens the fabric of the village we are creating together.

This year's fundraising goal of $22,000 will directly support the following initiatives:

Community Access Scholarships

$11,500

Everyone deserves access to belonging, regardless of financial circumstance.

Your support provides:

20 Community Access Scholarships for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color
$200 scholarship each

15 Scholarships for Mothers Experiencing Financial Hardship
$200 scholarship each

6 Full-Ride Scholarships
Covering the full cost of attendance for women facing significant financial barriers.

These scholarships ensure that women who are often underrepresented in wellness spaces can fully participate in the life of the village.

Cultural Stewardship

$3,000

Creating a truly inclusive community requires leadership, relationship, and ongoing care.

This funding supports:

  • Rooted & Held, our dedicated affinity space for Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Women of Color.

  • Honoraria for Cultural Stewardship leaders.

  • Year-round planning and consultation.

  • Community accountability and inclusion practices.

  • Resources that strengthen cultural belonging throughout Temple.

Community Care & Integration

$3,500

Temple is supported by a dedicated Community Care Team that helps participants feel held during moments of joy, grief, challenge, and transformation.

Funding supports:

  • Community Care Team honoraria

  • Emotional support throughout the gathering

  • Restorative conflict support

  • Integration circles

  • Quiet care spaces

  • Nervous system-informed response and participant support

This work helps ensure no woman has to navigate difficult moments alone.

Family Accessibility

$2,000

Many mothers are unable to attend community events because childcare simply isn't available.

Your support helps provide:

  • 28 hours of professionally facilitated Kids Camp

  • Babies Camp and Mother's Lounge

  • Family resources

  • Additional scholarships for mothers

By supporting childcare, we make it possible for mothers to receive care instead of always being the ones providing it.

Gathering Infrastructure & Stewardship

$5,000-$25,000

Beyond scholarships and community care, your support helps build the infrastructure required to create a gathering of this depth, safety, and integrity. These are the often unseen systems, people, and resources that allow Temple to function as a healthy, well-held community.

Your investment helps support:

  • Fair compensation for women producers, operational staff, and behind-the-scenes leadership who steward the gathering throughout the year.

  • Honoraria for Indigenous elders, cultural leaders, and community advisors whose wisdom strengthens the integrity of the village.

  • The Cultural Stewardship and Community Care leadership teams that help cultivate belonging, accountability, and participant wellbeing.

  • Locally sourced, nourishing meals that support participants while investing in regional farms and food producers.

  • Event infrastructure, land stewardship, and the logistical systems required to safely host hundreds of women and children.

  • Accessibility initiatives that make Temple more welcoming for participants with diverse physical, financial, and cultural needs.

  • Volunteer coordination, leadership development, and year-round planning that sustain the health of the community beyond the gathering itself.

These investments may be less visible than a workshop or performance, but they are what make Temple possible. They are the foundation that allows hundreds of women to gather with greater trust, care, and move towards a culture of shared belonging.

Belonging & Community Care Infrastructure

$3,000

Belonging requires more than shared space. It requires people whose role is supporting the people and systems that help every woman feel seen, safe, and supported.

Temple invests in a dedicated care infrastructure that supports participants before, during, and after the gathering. This includes our Community Care & Integration Team, Cultural Stewardship Team, affinity spaces, restorative conflict support, nervous system-informed care, quiet reflection spaces, and practices that help people navigate moments of challenge, transition, and connection with dignity.

Your support helps fund:

  • Community Care & Integration Team honoraria

  • Cultural Stewardship leadership and planning

  • Rooted & Held, our affinity space for Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Women of Color

  • Restorative conflict support and community mediation

  • Quiet care spaces and integration resources

  • Accessibility and participant support initiatives

  • Volunteer care and leadership support

  • Year-round planning that strengthens the culture of belonging

Unlike most gatherings, Temple intentionally invests in the human infrastructure that makes community resilient. We believe belonging is not simply something people feel. It is something we practice, steward, and build together.

Real Women, Real Impact.

Community healing is the future of women’s wellbeing.

The Ripple Effect of Belonging

Temple of Belonging is not simply a five-day gathering and cultural prototype. It is an investment in the long-term health, resilience, and connectedness of women, families, and communities throughout the Pacific Northwest who are worthy of spaces that are designed specifically for them.

Research consistently shows that strong social connection is one of the greatest protective factors for our mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Yet many women move through life carrying extraordinary responsibility while lacking the consistent community needed to sustain them. Temple exists to strengthen those protective relationships and create the conditions where women can experience genuine belonging, meaningful support, and shared responsibility.

The impact of Temple extends far beyond the gathering itself.

Women Leave More Connected

Loneliness and social isolation have become some of the greatest public health challenges of our time, increasing the risk of depression, anxiety, cardiovascular disease, and premature death. Temple exists to strengthen one of the most powerful protective factors we have: meaningful human connection. Participants leave with lasting friendships, renewed confidence, practical skills, and a deeper sense of belonging. Many describe Temple as the first place in years where they felt truly seen, supported, and able to fully exhale.

Families Grow Stronger

Research consistently shows that when women experience greater wellbeing, the benefits ripple outward to children, partners, and entire family systems. By investing in women's mental, emotional, and relational health, we strengthen the homes and communities they return to. Participants leave with greater capacity to regulate stress, care for themselves, communicate with honesty, and navigate the complexity of everyday life with more resilience and support.

Community Leadership Expands

Healthy communities are built by people who know one another, trust one another, and take responsibility for one another. Temple cultivates this kind of leadership. Participants return home inspired to organize gatherings, mentor younger women, volunteer, share practical skills, support neighbors through difficult seasons, and create spaces of belonging within their own communities. The impact extends far beyond the five days we spend together.

Women's Health Education Increases

Despite living in an age of unprecedented medical advancement, many women still receive little education about their own bodies. Temple offers practical, evidence-informed learning around hormones, nervous system health, menstrual cycles, menopause, sexuality, pelvic health, movement, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and more. Women leave with knowledge, tools, and greater confidence to care for themselves, advocate for their health, and share what they've learned with others.

Local Culture Flourishes

Temple intentionally invests in the people who make our region vibrant. Every dollar spent supports local artists, producers, educators, childcare providers, farmers, caterers, craftspeople, facilitators, and women-owned businesses across the Pacific Northwest. Rather than extracting resources from our community, we circulate them locally, strengthening relationships, livelihoods, and a regional culture rooted in creativity, reciprocity, and care.

Cultural Wisdom Is Carried Forward

Many of the skills and traditions that have sustained communities for generations are increasingly difficult to access in modern life. Temple creates space for cross-cultural and intergenerational learning through storytelling, song, craft, ceremony, nature connection, and practical skill sharing. These traditions are not simply remembered. They are practiced, embodied, and carried forward by the women who experience them, ensuring that cultural knowledge remains alive and continues to nourish future generations. Our Collective Impact

Together, your support helps make possible:

  • More than 350 women and children gathering in intentional community.

  • 41 scholarship recipients, ensuring financial hardship is not a barrier to belonging.

  • 6 full-ride scholarships each year for women who otherwise could not attend.

  • 28 hours of children's programming, allowing mothers to receive care while their children are held in community.

  • A dedicated Community Care Team and Cultural Stewardship Team, strengthening the wellbeing and integrity of the village.

  • Direct investment in local artists, educators, facilitators, Indigenous elders, musicians, farmers, and women-owned businesses across the Pacific Northwest.

Looking Beyond the Gathering

We believe healthy communities are built through relationships that endure over time. Every woman who leaves Temple carries those relationships, practices, and experiences back into her family, workplace, neighborhood, and community, expanding the circle of care wherever she goes.

This is how lasting change takes root. Not through a single event, but through people who have experienced what belonging feels like and choose to cultivate more of it in their everyday lives.

Your generosity makes this possible. It is an investment not only in a gathering, but in a living model of re-villaging, one that strengthens women's wellbeing, nurtures community resilience, and continues to ripple outward long after the tents come down.

Make a Donation

Temple has always been a community effort.

Temple is built thousands of times over. In every scholarship that says, "You belong here." In every meal shared around a table. In every child cared for while her mother receives care. In every conversation that reminds someone they are not alone. This community exists because people continue to invest in one another.

Our goal is to raise $22,000 to expand scholarships and strengthen the people and infrastructure that allow this village to exist with care, integrity, and accessibility.

Thank you for helping us keep building something that feels increasingly rare: a place where women can gather, belong, and practice a different way of being together.

I actually prefer this second version. It feels more like an invitation than a fundraising pitch, which matches the rest of what you've been building.
